THE STORY

Every project has a story.

Yours might be a home that's just beginning, a space in the middle of change, or something that simply needs putting right. Either way, it's something you care about getting right.

So of course you'd want to know who's about to become part of that story. That's exactly why I wanted to tell you myself, rather than let a brochure do it.

For more than 30 years I've walked alongside Auckland homeowners on journeys much like yours. That work has always lived within Stable Group, where our team leads planning, design and consents. But the part I loved most was never the paperwork. It was being on site, watching something slowly become real.

Why stop at getting a project ready to build?

By the time a consent came through, we already understood the project, the client, and every decision made along the way. Handing all of that to someone else at the exact moment the work started never sat right with me. So we stopped doing it. Fewer handovers, fewer gaps, and the same people at the table from the first idea through to the final coat of paint.

Karin first knew me as a client of hers, in a completely different industry. As we got talking it became obvious she was exactly what Stable Group needed. She joined the team, bringing 30 years of her own business and operations experience with her.

Together, somewhere along the way, we found ourselves dreaming about something more. Early in 2025 that dream became something real. By the middle of that year it had a name and a life of its own: Neda Builda NZ Limited.

Brad came back into the picture too. He and I had worked together for years before he stepped away to focus on starting a family through the uncertainty of COVID. When the timing was right he returned, bringing the client and project management experience I already knew and trusted.

We didn't just rename something. We grew something.

I've always been careful about who I bring alongside me. Not because we're precious, but because this was never just about margins. It's about the people doing the work, and the people we do it for.

So if you've looked us up and thought the company looks new — you're right, it is. The name is. The working relationships behind it aren't, and neither is the experience. And truly, we're grateful you noticed. It tells us you're paying attention to the people you're trusting with your home.

OUR APPROACH

Built around people.

Experience matters. The way that experience is applied—with clarity, care and accountability—is what homeowners feel throughout a project.

  1. 01

    People First

The people doing the work, and the people we do it for, sit at the centre of every decision.

  2. 02

    Clear Communication

Straight-up conversations help homeowners understand what is happening, what comes next and where decisions are needed.

  3. 03

    Quality Workmanship

Careful preparation, experienced site leadership and attention to the details that determine how a finished home feels and performs.

  4. 04

    Trust Over The Long Term

The aim is not a short-term transaction. It is a relationship homeowners can feel comfortable returning to and recommending.

  5. 05

    A Connected Approach

Clear roles across planning and construction help the right people become involved at the right stage of a project.

THE NEXT STEP

No pressure and no pitch—just a proper conversation about what you are considering and the people who may become part of it.
